Wine pairing Pax Vinum Cava Savia Viva Brut – 22 – Biologisch Parellada, Macabeo, Xarel-lo. Penedes, Spain A fresh, dry Cava with a soft texture and lots of small bubbles. Aromas of apple, pear and white flowers. Betuws Wijndomein Linge Cuvee Barrique – 28 2018, Johanniter, Solaris, Souvignier gris. Betuwe, Netherlands The vines for this wine are planted alongside the winding Linge, in the Betuwe. Consisting of three grape varieties that are perfectly suited for the Dutch climate. This wine is soft and light with notes of tropical yellow fruit, but is slightly fatty due to the wood maturation it underwent. Antica Tenuta Pietramore – 25 – Vegan 2017, Montepulciano. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Italy Beautiful full wine from Chieti and Teramo in the Abruzzo. Scents of rose petals, currants and plum come together with some Mediterranean herbs such as thyme and laurel. We recommend to decant the wine an hour before serving. Maurer Zlatni Papagaj – 25 – Vegan Furmint – gewürztraminer A white dessert wine made according to a local 800 year old tradition. Consisting of typical Hungarian and typical German grapes with Botrytis (noble rot). This creates sweet honey scents and a slight syrupy texture. The perfect companion for a sweet dessert. |
